It’s on the lining of the bespoke suits COACH PRIME’s team wore to their home opener against Nebraska, and now, it’s not only the players believing. It’s the entire nation.
Riding high after Week 1’s upset of then-#17 TCU, Colorado was primed on Saturday for a long-awaited return to the Top 20. For their part, the Huskers hoped to sour the mood in Boulder, where Colorado celebrated PRIME’s home debut and their 100th year at Folsom Field with a sold-out stadium of 53,241 fans — their largest crowd in 15 years. But the night was a big bust for Nebraska, with the Buffs blowing things open in the 2nd half for a commanding 36 - 14 victory.
The win moves Colorado to 2-0, #18 in the AP Poll, and represents their first three-game winning streak over Nebraska since the 1950s.
Post-game, the score was a story. Quarterback (and coach’s son) Shedeur Sanders was a story. And for the second week in a row, so were the shades.

Next Up for COACH PRIME and Colorado
The Buffaloes outgained the Huskers by a 454-341 margin in Week 2, scoring on their last seven of eight possessions. But the stakes get raised in Week 3 when Colorado State travels to Folsom Field for a heated rivalry clash.
