Blendz was on-location for the Nissan Super Girl Pro 2019 competition in Oceanside, CA this past weekend, joined by pro surfer and Blendz ambassador, Lakey Peterson. When Lakey wasn’t competing on the surf, she joined us inside our booth to champion the latest in sun style—her polarized, limited-edition ‘Lakey 7’ sunglasses.
We love this event and look forward to it each year, and the 2019 competition was uniquely special because of the debut of Lakey’s new signature series shades. Oh, and one more thing—shouts to seventeen-year-old Samantha Sibley (San Clemente, CA) on becoming the youngest surfer to ever rock the Super Girl Pro cape. Her first World Qualifying Series (QS) title rockets her to No. 6 in the QS rankings!
